This season, the rookies in the Broncos organization are adjusting to life in the NFL. For Juwann Winfree, he decided to talk about his journey.

2019 is going to be a pretty significant year for the Denver Broncos. For Juwann Winfree, he will be looking to play a key part in the offense. Drafted in the sixth round of the NFL draft a couple months ago, he will be competing among quite a few wide receivers.

There is no sugar coating that it will be one of the most competing spots out of the entire Denver Broncos positions. But there is no doubt that Winfree will be ready for when training camp begins next month.

Before he begins his NFL journey, the former Colorado Buffaloe visited his hometown in Englewood, New Jersey to speak to some members of the town to give his story about his journey so far. Even the mayor was in attendance and gave him a key to the city.

While also in his hometown, his family decided to throw him a little sending away party before he goes back to Dove Valley. Winfree spent the time thanking his friends and family. He also discussed his path to where he is now.

Winfree’s father, Carl, and Juwann also announced that they would be starting a new organization. Team Winfree Youth Foundation is a charity that aims at getting younger children in the area involved in organized sports.

I am very excited to see what Juwann Winfree can do for the Denver Broncos. He will be competing with players like Tim Patrick, River Cracraft, and others for a spot on the Denver Broncos final 53-man roster. What could help him stand out from the rest of the wide outs is his ability to make moves in the open field and his catch radius.

Here is to hoping the Broncos find another diamond in the rough with Juwann Winfree.
