The Denver Broncos have a stellar starting defensive unit, but they also have some pretty good backup players. Who are some of the most underrated?

Despite their inability to win more than 11 games over the last two seasons, the Denver Broncos have fought through injuries and played some great games defensively against some of the best teams in the NFL.

Offensive ineptitude has prevented the Denver defense from showing just how strong it’s capable of being, and the defense has played at a high level with a variety of personnel groupings on the field.

The Broncos have some solid, underrated depth on that side of the ball, the mark of a truly great defensive unit.

While they have been reeling a bit as the 2015 Super Bowl defense has been dismantled over the last four seasons, the injuries and free agent departures have given way for new faces to emerge on this side of the ball for the Broncos.

Who are some of the most underrated players coming off the sidelines on this roster? There are a few that come to mind, but let’s look at who I believe to be the top three.
