Sixth round: Chris Carson, RB, Oklahoma State (Seahawks)

Original pick: De’Angelo Henderson, RB, Coastal Carolina

The later rounds of the 2017 NFL Draft don’t include many brilliant picks, but the Seahawks’ selection of Chris Carson in round seven is one of them.

As a matter of fact, Carson may be the steal of this draft in terms of draft position and overall production if it weren’t for George Kittle.

Carson ran for over 1,100 yards and nine touchdowns very quietly for the Seahawks last year and was so good in his rookie camp he emerged as a starter right away.

He averaged 4.7 yards per carry last year behind a poor offensive line as well.

The 1-2 punch of Kamara and Carson would have set the Broncos up for years to come at the position.
