6. Phillip Lindsay, RB

Phillip Lindsay took the league by storm in his rookie season.

He ran for 1,037 yards and scored nine touchdowns on the ground, behind an uneven offensive line.

Lindsay is a small running back, which played a factor in the fact that he went undrafted out of Colorado last year. The Broncos even took another running back—Royce Freeman—in the 2018 NFL draft.

He was ejected during a game against the Baltimore Ravens for what the referees considered as a punch. It was clear that Lindsay was just trying to recover the football on a fumble.

Lindsay also missed the final game of the season due to a wrist injury, which required surgery.

The Broncos have a ton of new pieces on offense this year. It is expected that their quarterback play will be much improved with Joe Flacco and a new system that will help feature Royce Freeman as well.

Freeman and the uncertainty of the offense are reasons why Lindsay is not higher on the list. Despite my expectation that he will be a great piece to the Denver offense in 2019, it is a wait-and-see game.

I am extremely excited though.
