8. Kareem Jackson, DB

Yeah, yeah, I know what you’re thinking. Why did he have to use that photo when talking about Kareem Jackson?

That photo just shows Jackson’s tackling ability. New Denver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio has made it known that he wants his defensive backs to be able to tackle. That is something Jackson is good at. The Broncos focused on that aspect of the game during free agency and that is why Jackson is a Denver Bronco.

He has recorded 558 tackles and 16 interceptions during his career.

Jackson has been around for a while. He is the most experienced member of the Denver Broncos secondary, entering his 10th season in the NFL.

Vic Fangio has had success with defensive backs. Last year, he had Eddie Jackson and Bryce Callahan to utilize. Fortunately, Callahan followed Fangio to Denver.

When it comes to “dark horse” MVPs, I predict that Kareem Jackson will be just that for the Denver Broncos.

You heard it here first.
