The good news is that Chris Harris Jr. will be a member of the Denver Broncos in 2019. The bad news is that this likely could be his final season in Denver.

Harris Jr. is a shutdown corner. He has proven that he is one of, if not the best cornerback in the league. Unfortunately the Denver Broncos didn’t necessarily view him as worthy enough to secure him to a long-term contract extension.

Despite this, he has said he would allow the Broncos a chance to re-sign him instead of automatically heading to a different team in 2020.

You can also take into consideration Pro Football Focus stats:

The Broncos signed Kareem Jackson and Bryce Callahan this offseason, which will help in the long-run. The Broncos would be losing a very large chunk of production if/when Chris Harris Jr. leaves via free agency.
