Trey Johnson
Age: 24
2019 Salary Cap Hit: $495K
Years under contract: 1
Trey Johnson comes to the Denver Broncos after having spent a season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He signed a contract with them in 2018, but was released shortly after the end of the NFL season in February.
Johnson signed a one year deal with the Broncos a week before the NFL Draft began this offseason. Like Richardson, I see Trey Johnson as a camp body. However, if he can perform at a high level, he could easily be placed on the Denver Broncos practice squad at the end of the preseason.
