In a position that found its grove late in the 2018 season, we take a look at the Denver Broncos running backs and full backs on the roster for 2019.

For the Denver Broncos, the running back position has been something of a struggle the past couple seasons. One of the very few bright spots of the 2017 season was when C.J. Anderson recorded his first ever 1,000 yard season.

Back in the day, the Denver Broncos were known for having running backs finish the season with at least 1,000 yards. It has been tough to come by lately. But thanks to Philip Lindsay, the Broncos were able to record two straight seasons of 1,000 yard rushers.

Having the running back contributing to the offense is going to be helpful for Joe Flacco this season. We know he is a solid passer, but being able to gain 4-6 yards on the ground on first down will make it easier to convert those second and third down plays.

At a position that has not changed a lot in regards to players from last season, this group appears destined to have a solid year. And let us not forget, full backs are football players too.

With that said, I will be taking a look at each running back and full back on the roster. I will also cover their contract situation and what they can bring to Denver in 2019.
