2018 injury: Torn Achilles

Ron Leary has spent two seasons with the Denver Broncos, and both have ended in season-ending injuries.

In 2017, he played 11 games before going on injured reserve with a frustrating back issue, and this past season, he suffered a torn Achilles after just six games.

The Broncos are moving Leary back to right guard, where he is apparently more comfortable. He was moved to left guard last season because it was assumed that was his preferred position.

Leary talked about feeling much more comfortable on the right side this offseason and says the media hyped up his being a natural left guard more than anything.

The Broncos don’t have great depth on the offensive line, so Leary staying healthy this season is of paramount importance.
