2018 injury: Wrist injury (ligament damage)

The big black eye over Phillip Lindsay’s otherwise stellar rookie season was his wrist injury against the Oakland Raiders on Christmas Eve.

When you think ‘wrist injury’ if you’re like me, you’re probably thinking it’s just no big deal. However, this injury for Lindsay required surgery and a lengthy recovery which kept him from working out his upper body until literally just before the time this article was written.

Lindsay’s recovery process has been slow, but he’s expected to be ready for training camp.

Still, this injury was significant and more than a little concerning, considering Lindsay needs his hands and wrists to carry the football.

Hopefully, he comes back and looks just like he did last season. The last thing the Broncos want is for Lindsay to be hesitant or thinking about that wrist when he’s running at full speed.
