2018 injury: Fractured fibula

When Chris Harris Jr. suffered a ‘fractured fibula’ in the heart of the Broncos’ nice run last year, it was a back-breaker for the team.

Harris has proven to be tough as nails throughout his career, however, and very good at recovering from injuries quickly, if that’s a thing.

Harris recovered quickly from a torn ACL he suffered in the 2013 season and played at a very high level in 2014, actually earning a contract extension before the end of 2014.

He fractured his fibula in 2018 and was actually ready in case the Broncos would have made the postseason. He played in the 2018-19 Pro Bowl.

The injury has been a non-issue for the Broncos as of this offseason, but Harris did end last season on IR for the team so the next time he suits up in orange and blue will be the first time since the Broncos beat the Bengals in Cincinnati.
