Su’a Cravens – Safety

Su’a Cravens was excited to become a member of the Denver Broncos when the Washington Redskins traded him last season. However, he spent most of the season on injured reserve as he recovered from knee soreness.

When he did play for the Broncos, we did not see a whole lot from him. Vance Joseph even had him inactive for the last few games of the season. It is uncertain why that was the case, but it apparently was due to game performance.

There are thoughts that Cravens would play inside linebacker, but Vic Fangio wants him to make the roster as a safety.

It is likely he will be on the final roster, but the question is can he make it as a safety? With Justin Simmons, Will Parks, and others currently on the roster, it will be a uphill battle. I have faith he will make it, but we will see in training camp sessions and the preseason.

One thing that Cravens has going for him is Vic Fangio leading the team.
