Brendan Langley – WR

If you have not heard, Brendan Langley will be switching from cornerback to wide receiver in 2019. It was a bit of a surprise to me, but seeing how he has performed, it makes sense. He was surpassed during his rookie season and was on the inactive list.

After spending half of last season on the practice squad, Langley was brought up. However, despite the call up, he rarely saw the field. He even admitted, when switching positions, that he did not feel comfortable moving backwards.

While I applaud him for making the switch, it comes at a time where there is a lot of receivers on the roster. Emmanuel Sanders, Courtland Sutton, and DaeSean Hamilton should make the roster. After that, it is almost like a free for all.

Having played receiver before moving to corner, Langley could surprise a lot of us and make the roster. But there is also that risk at moving to a new position.
