Between Justin Simmons and Will Parks, the Broncos may have their safety duo of the future but would re-signing those two guys come at the cost of losing Chris Harris Jr.?

It’s possible the Broncos would have to make a tough decision like that this offseason.

Simmons played his first full 16-game slate in 2018 and had a career-high three interceptions as a result. He also set a career mark with 97 total tackles and proved his all-around abilities at the safety position.

The key now for Simmons? Consistency.

We know he’s a big-time athlete capable of making game-changing interceptions and playing tough football in the box, but there were a lot of communication problems on the back end of Denver’s defense last year leading to far too many big plays for opposing teams.

If Simmons can take the next step at reading the field and more consistently being in position, he could be the next $11 million/year safety in the NFL.
