DL Shelby Harris

Age at free agency: 28

Shelby Harris is a very good interior defensive lineman who will be 28 later this year, and he’s set to cash in through free agency if he has another big season in Denver.

Could this be another Malik Jackson type of situation for the Broncos? Should they lock him up while his value is low enough, or would Harris even agree to that?

He posted 5.5 sacks in 2017 and had just 1.5 last year, but Harris has no shortage of impact plays for the Broncos and his role has slowly but surely increased.

Whether he’s playing the run, rushing the passer, playing special teams, or even dropping into coverage (sorry, Big Ben), Harris has been outstanding for the Broncos.

We will find out this year if he can maintain that high level of play with a higher number of snaps.
