DE Derek Wolfe

Age at free agency: 30

Derek Wolfe is another significant player for the Broncos who was part of the Super Bowl 50 squad up for a contract extension after this season.

Wolfe took less money to stay with the Broncos when he signed his second NFL contract and he’s been vocal about that, and he’s also been vocal about essentially doing what it takes to stay in Denver for the long term.

He loves new head coach Vic Fangio, and he loves his situation in Denver, so I think Wolfe is one of the likeliest candidates on this list to be re-signed. He is such a smart player and works so well on the left side of the line with Von Miller behind him.

Wolfe is also a very underrated run defender and would probably be one of the best pass-rushing threats at the DE position if he didn’t spend more of his time freeing things up for edge players.

Wolfe is a stud and should get paid, but I think he will take a reasonable deal to stay with the Broncos.
