Age at free agency: 30

There seems to be this misconception out there that Chris Harris Jr. is on borrowed time, or something.

As of the day of this writing, Harris is still just 29. I’m 29, so he can’t be old.

Harris has had a couple of significant injuries in his career, but he bounced back from a torn ACL to play some of the best football of his career from 2014-present and came back so quick from a broken leg last year, you wonder if the guy’s even human.

He wants to be paid like the best cornerback in the NFL, and understandably so. The Broncos raised his salary this year but have tabled long-term contract talks until after the season.

Considering all the money they can move off the books, I would be shocked if they didn’t at least make Harris an offer for a three or four-year contract to keep him in Denver.
