C Connor McGovern

Age at free agency: 26

Connor McGovern will turn 27 around the time of the 2020 NFL Draft, so he’s a strong candidate for a contract extension at the end of this season, especially if he plays well as the pivot in Mike Munchak’s offensive line.

McGovern has played both guard and center for the Broncos but will make his money as a free agent showing what he can do at the center position.

The Broncos were willing to lose Matt Paradis in free agency to see what McGovern’s got, so they obviously think quite highly of the former fifth-round pick out of Missouri.

With all of the other players on this list, it’s hard to prioritize which guys the Broncos should try to re-sign but if McGovern plays well and Ron Leary is a possible cap casualty, how could you not re-sign him?
