1. Bradley Chubb, EDGE

Despite other worthy candidates (namely Justin Simmons), Bradley Chubb is the only defensive player to make this list.

The Broncos’ defensive cornerstone pieces are all on their second going on third contracts in the NFL. Justin Simmons is 25 and fits the criteria, but I chose some of the other players to start an ‘expansion’ Broncos team and Chubb is my lone defender.

The fifth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Chubb was a gift to the Broncos from the football gods.

The Browns clearly didn’t make a mistake by taking Denzel Ward fourth overall, but the Broncos aren’t complaining about having Chubb in the fold alongside Von Miller for the foreseeable future.

He notched 12 sacks in his rookie season along with two forced fumbles. He looks like one of the NFL’s top players 25 and under regardless of position.

Next. One thing we learned at every position at Broncos OTAs. dark

Chubb should take the next step this year from awesome complement to Von Miller to standalone superstar.
