2013 Denver Broncos Season

There is a huge case of putting this as the most disappointing Denver Broncos season, especially in recent history. It probably would have been higher if the final game of the season for Denver was competitive. But from the first snap until the final horn, it was anything but that.

Denver had one of the most historical season’s in franchise history, finishing top in offensive categories. Peyton Manning was playing on another level. The team had a wide receiver trio and a big time tight end that brought in points left and right.

However, the team failed to show up when it mattered the most, in Super Bowl 48. Seattle’s defense had their way with the Denver Broncos and it proved to be the difference. The high powered offense of the Broncos could only muster eight points the entire game as they were thrashed 43-8 on the biggest stage.

It was truly a nightmare on what was supposed to be a dominating season.
