Which Denver Broncos position groups improved the most from 2018 to 2019? We take a look at the top three.
We’re entering the dark days of the NFL offseason as OTAs have come to a close and teams are on ‘Summer vacation’ before training camp kicks off in mid-July. The Denver Broncos finished up their OTAs with renewed expectations and a completely fresh start from where things ended in 2018.
In case you missed it, we took a look at some really interesting storylines and developments from the past few months of OTAs, including some great stuff on what Vic Fangio thinks of Bradley Chubb’s fit in the new defense, how OLBs coach Brandon Staley advocated for Justin Hollins to be drafted, and what young tight end is stepping up.
The Broncos were ‘technically’ improved in 2018 compared to 2017 despite the fact that the lack of a playoff appearance (among other reasons) got Vance Joseph and a large portion of his coaching staff fired, going from five to six victories.
The Broncos could win seven games this year and also be considered ‘improved’ but what position groups saw a drastic enough change to actually make this team substantially better.
So which areas are the most improved in Denver this year? I put together my ranking of the top three, looking back at last year’s groups.
