In the final session before a huge break for the summer, the Denver Broncos had a little bit of fun once team meetings were completed on Thursday.

With the final mandatory minicamp practice on Thursday, it appeared as if the Denver Broncos were going to finish strong and have a little momentum going into the long summer break before training camp.

Little did they know that there was some fun involved. After the team had meetings on Thursday morning, Vic Fangio decided to forego practice for the day and told the team to have some fun. And they did so by way of a field day.

It was almost like the last day of school all over again.

The team participated in various events such as golfing, basketball, baseball, water balloon toss, and a football toss. The team even had a dunk tank that featured players and coaches. Even General Manager John Elway got involved in the fun.

Justin Simmons and Will Parks provided their insights on how they discovered they will be participating in Denver Broncos field day.

I believe it is amazing that Vic Fangio decided to have a little team bonding by way of the field day. Fangio knew that his team has been working hard for him and decided to reward them with a fun day. It is important for the team to have some time to bond and have fun every now and then.

Denver will now enter a long break. The next time we will see them is in mid-July, when training camp begins. The team will get a bit of a shorter break before they prepare for the Hall of Fame game on August 1st.

It will be a quiet time at Dove Valley until then, but we are just a few weeks away from the start of Denver Broncos 2019 football.
