Ranking the Denver Broncos position groups from best to worst

9. Offensive Line

The strength of the Broncos’ offensive line, at this current point in time, is not its depth.

The addition of offensive line coach Mike Munchak is probably the biggest move the team made this offseason outside of hiring Vic Fangio as the new lead man.

The Broncos also spent a lot of money on Ja’Wuan James and drafted Dalton Risner with their first of two second-round picks.

The starting five of Garett Bolles, Dalton Risner, Connor McGovern, Ron Leary, and James is the best the Broncos have had — on paper — since 2013 when Ryan Clady was still healthy and Orlando Franklin was playing at a high level.

I like the starting unit here but the Broncos are one injury away from great uncertainty here.

Munchak’s coaching ability and this team’s depth on the offensive line, in general, could be tested.
