6. Defensive Line

Derek Wolfe is the heart and soul of the Broncos’ defensive line, led by one of the best position coaches in the entire league, Bill Kollar.

Under Kollar’s direction, the Broncos have seen a number of linemen blossom, including former second-round pick Adam Gotsis and former reserve/future signing Shelby Harris, who are now entrenched starters.

Zach Kerr was re-signed this offseason and can play all over the defensive line. The team hasn’t yet given up on former second-round pick DeMarcus Walker.

They also drafted Dre’Mont Jones in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, and he should come in and provide a pass rush for them as well.

With some recent additions like veteran Billy Winn and DeShawn Williams, the defensive line gets a big boost and hopefully this unit will return to its dominating ways.
