3. Running Back/Fullback

The Broncos’ running back/fullback position group has two current Pro Bowl caliber players in Phillip Lindsay (who made the Pro Bowl as an undrafted rookie) and Andy Janovich, one of the best all-around football players on the team.

Lindsay is obviously the superstar of this group, but the Broncos have nice depth behind him as well.

Royce Freeman, a third-round pick in 2018, was expected to be the team’s bell cow back before he hurt his ankle, giving way to more touches for both Lindsay and fellow backup Devontae Booker.

Oh, and by the way, Booker is maybe the best receiving back on the entire roster.

Behind the four guys who are for sure making this roster, the Broncos have a couple of possible gems.

Khalfani Muhammad has elite speed and could be a factor with Lindsay coming back from his wrist injury. George Aston, a UDFA fullback out of Pitt, is a perfect practice squad candidate who can help in a variety of ways offensively.
