2. Secondary

More than any other position group on this list, the secondary benefits from quantity of quality.

The cornerback position on its own may be a borderline top five position group. The same is true of the safety position.

When you put the whole secondary together, however, it’s hard to argue this is not the best combination of players on the team.

The Broncos have no fewer than six starting quality players on the back end of their defense with Chris Harris Jr., Kareem Jackson, Bryce Callahan, and Justin Simmons leading the way.

Isaac Yiadom is a promising second-year player and Will Parks may be one of the most underrated players on the entire roster.

The Broncos have some other nice developmental pieces on the back end of their defense including Su’a Cravens, De’Vante Bausby, Jamal Carter, Dymonte Thomas, and Trey Marshall.

Undrafted rookie Alijah Holder has a chance to crack the squad as one of the team’s most valuable UDFAs in 2019.
