What is the current state of the Denver Broncos’ roster? We take a look at each position group and rank them from best to worst.

The Denver Broncos’ roster has been completely re-tooled and re-shaped to fit new head coach Vic Fangio’s preferences.

The Broncos are trying to make the playoffs for the first time since they won the Super Bowl and their roster, although perhaps not the best in the NFL, is pretty darn good on paper.

We have all offseason to talk about hypotheticals for the coming year, but what about the work the Broncos have done assembling the best 90-man roster possible?

Heading into mandatory mini-camp, I wanted to take a look at the roster from top to bottom and try to rank each position group.

Every position group ranked has their own specific position coach, so I didn’t differentiate between interior linemen and tackles or defensive ends, and I didn’t separate slot receivers from outside guys.

I also didn’t rank the specialists among the other position groups but if they would be thrown in here, I think the Broncos’ specialists rank somewhere in the middle with a really good kicker and long snapper and a hopefully decent punter.

I’m going to rank each position group on the team from worst to first, and when you’re done checking out my reasoning, I want to hear about yours.
