Su’a Cravens, safety

Su’a Cravens has unfortunately been a disappointment for the Denver Broncos since arriving via a trade with the Washington Redskins in 2018.

He has a lot of potential to succeed in the National Football League, but injuries have put a dagger in his career since being a second-round pick in 2016 by Washington.

He will be behind on the depth chart again, with Will Parks and Justin Simmons in those spots, as well as Kareem Jackson moving over to safety in some defensive packages.

Cravens has the ability to play linebacker. He has bulked up this offseason to try and help the team at that spot if needed, but head coach Vic Fangio has stated that Cravens will need to make the team as a safety.

I have been a fan of Cravens’ since we all saw his reaction video to the news that he was being traded. However, the injury bug has bitten him. Hopefully, 2019 will be a better outcome. I’m excited to see what the Broncos have planned for the safety.
