Isaac Yiadom, Cornerback

Life as an NFL cornerback is not exactly an easy task. Unlike the old days, cornerbacks cannot put their hands on wide receivers as much as they’d like to. That makes things extremely difficult.

There were times Yiadom looked good, but with most rookies, the Broncos cornerback struggled.

The Broncos brought in defensive backs Kareem Jackson and Bryce Callahan this offseason. The experience those two bring to the table should help Yiadom learn.

Not to mention the return of Chris Harris Jr. for one more season. Experience is invaluable. To be able to learn from those great players should really bring Yiadom along. The most important way to learn, though, is to get on the field.

Hopefully new Broncos head coach Vic Fangio and defensive coordinator Ed Donatell have something up their sleeves for Yiadom to contribute and show that he can be a good player for this defense.

Can Yiadom live up to expectations? Hopefully. Only time will tell. He is still young and will have time to grow under this new coaching staff.
