The Denver Broncos had a bad 2018 season, but here is a number of players, old or new to the team, that could rebound in 2019.

I am not a big fan of the term “rebuild” as it relates to the Denver Broncos. I prefer to say that the team is just attempting to get better after the last couple of seasons haven’t gone their way.

Yes, the Broncos have a new head coach, quarterback, as well as a number of other new pieces. But I still don’t want to call it a “rebuild”.

Well, they are starting over at some positions, but don’t forget about returning guys such as Emmanuel Sanders, Chris Harris Jr., and oh yeah, Von Miller. They are still there and aren’t going anywhere. At least not for the 2019 season.

Now, there were some good things that came from the 2018 season. Despite the Broncos only winning six games, there was always a learning experience during the loss.

I would add that another plus was the team’s 2019 draft position, but we all know how that turned out.

When it comes to the players on the field, one has to think that they are motivated to do better than what they showed in 2018. With a new coaching staff, the moral seems to have changed tremendously. That will be more and more important as the year goes on.

Now, here are five players who I expect to make a leap in performance during the 2019 NFL season.
