The last week of OTA’s are nearly completed and Derek Wolfe has made it absolutely clear that he enjoys this new Denver Broncos defense.

There is no question to what Wade Phillips’ defense did for the Denver Broncos. It was what led the team to their third Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. But if Derek Wolfe’s thoughts on Vic Fangio’s defense are any indication of what the defense can do, Broncos Country could see the same results.

It is no secret to the amount of impact that Vic Fangio has brought to the Denver Broncos in his short time here. He has not even coached his first game yet and there seems to be a different mindset in the facilities.

Vic Fangio has brought his way of the defensive arts to the Denver Broncos. After many organized team activity sessions, Derek Wolfe appears to have been the one who has enjoyed it the most.

"“I’ve fallen in love with this defense, actually. Last time I felt this way was when I was introduced to Wade’s defense. It was almost like I was born to play this defense.” -Derek Wolfe (via Denver Broncos PR)"

This will be Derek Wolfe’s big year. The Broncos have already picked up his option for this season. While he is set to be a free agent after the 2019 season is over, he feels as if playing a season under Vic Fangio will really help to elevate his game.

Wolfe has also mentioned how much he has enjoyed the new atmosphere for this 2019 Denver Broncos team. He feels as if this could be a good year for him.

Almost everything that we have heard up to this point is trending upwards for this team. It has me excited for the new season. It will be exciting seeing Derek Wolfe’s game get to a new level and seeing the team work as a unit will be a nice change of pace.

2019 can not come fast enough for Broncos Country.
