The second half of the schedule for the Denver Broncos could get tough as the team travels to Minnesota to face the Vikings to start a road trip stretch.

This season, the Denver Broncos get a favorable Week 10 bye. It will certainly help in the long run as the team will start a really tough stretch starting with the Minnesota Vikings.

With this game, the Denver Broncos will start a stretch where they will play four road games in five weeks. The first game will be against a Vikings team that missed the playoffs last year despite winning the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes.

This game will mark Denver’s first visit to U.S. Bank Stadium, which was completed after Denver won Super Bowl 50.

Minnesota went 8-7-1 in the 2018 campaign, missing the playoffs during the final week of the regular season when they lost to the Chicago Bears, which gave the Philadelphia Eagles the final playoff spot in the NFC.

The last time the Broncos and Vikings faced off in the regular season, it took a forced fumble by T.J. Ward to derail a possible game tying field goal. Denver would escape with a 23-20 win.

The win gave Denver their third in a row against the Vikings, which ties the all time series between the two teams at seven games a piece. Who will take the series lead in November? We will know for sure at that time.

For the Minnesota Vikings, the offseason saw them focus on players like Anthony Barr in free agency. The Broncos will possibly see a familiar face in Week 11 as Jordan Taylor signed with the Vikings in April.

The Vikings also had the most draft picks. Had they kept all their picks, they would have ended up with 22 picks. But they traded ten of their picks between when the pick was acquired and the end of the draft.

They still got 12 players in the draft, which is quite the number for a draft class. It will be interesting to see the plans for every single one of them.

A rare matchup between the Broncos and Vikings should be a good one.
