Trey Marshall, S
We’ll have to see how things sort themselves out at safety this offseason, but the Broncos have a lot of really intriguing players out there including Trey Marshall, a former Florida State standout.
Marshall was signed to the Broncos’ active roster after spending most of the year on the practice squad when the Arizona Cardinals apparently tried to snipe him away from the Broncos.
Denver would have none of it, and wound up cutting Shamarko Thomas — who is also now back with the team — in order to retain Marshall as part of their future plans.
Marshall is known for flying around the field like a missile and has the potential to be a special teams ace.
Next. Broncos UDFAs who could make the final roster. dark
He will have to prove he’s more than just a special teams guy this offseason as he could get caught in a numbers game with some other very talented players at this position, as well as a number of undrafted guys who have had a similar rise to prominence.
