Brett Rypien – QB

The Denver Broncos already know who will be suiting up as the starting quarterback for the season. The backup has already been determined as well. But there has to be a reason that John Elway decided to bring in Brett Rypien to the team.

While the Denver Broncos focus on two quarterbacks on the roster, they might have to settle with three because of the uncertainty. Kevin Hogan gives a veteran presence and Drew Lock has a lot to learn before he is ready.

However, if the Broncos wanted three quarterbacks, there is a chance that Brett Rypien could make his case to become the third string quarterback. His performance in college gives him a solid chance. But it will all come down to if he can outperform Kevin Hogan and if Denver is okay with two rookie quarterbacks behind Joe Flacco.
