Defensive Line: Billy Winn

Billy Winn was signed out of nowhere just before the 2019 NFL Draft, and the Broncos have a variety of players on the defensive line who probably stand a better chance of making the team.

But what the team lost this offseason with Domata Peko no longer in the fray was a veteran leadership and presence in the middle of the line, and Winn could potentially provide it.

Winn is on his second stint with the Broncos and undoubtedly was a preferred choice of defensive line coach Bill Kollar to get a call at his age coming off of injury.

Winn hasn’t played a regular season game since 2016, but he could wind up playing a significant role on the Broncos’ defensive line with his ability to play inside and outside.
