As the Denver Broncos prepare for their fifth starting quarterback in three years, Courtland Sutton believes there is a lot of promise with Joe Flacco.

Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch, Case Keenum, and now Joe Flacco. The Denver Broncos have been in quarterback purgatory ever since Peyton Manning hung up the cleats. It remains to be seen how Joe Flacco will do in the Mile High City. Courtland Sutton believes in the new quarterback.

The team is currently in their next phase of organized team activities. The team is about two weeks away from beginning the mandatory minicamp portion of their offseason program. Every bit of repetition is going to be key going forward.

This is especially true with the quarterback and the receivers. And Courtland Sutton provides that all is going well with the chemistry.

"“It’s going well. We are getting a lot of reps. Getting those reps are important and we are building our connection more and more everyday.” -Courtland Sutton (via Denver Broncos PR)"

Having a veteran presence at quarterback is going to be very helpful for the Denver Broncos. A lot have questioned Joe Flacco’s abilities to lead the Broncos to the Super Bowl. Peyton Manning at his age was able to. Why can’t Flacco? Even Courtland Sutton believes that his quarterback is being underestimated.

"“I think a lot of people underestimate his [Flacco’s] athleticism. They think he is just a sit back there and throw it. But he can move in the pocket and he has so much confidence in his arm. And that is one thing that I enjoy being able to have. Having him very comfortable with his throws.” -Courtland Sutton (via Denver Broncos PR)"

Joe Flacco was able to show how strong his arm was in organized team activities as he was able to overthrow his receivers. But Broncos fans are no strangers to how strong of an arm Flacco has.

I am hopeful that Joe Flacco can at least get the Broncos back to the postseason. It certainly will not be easy with how strong the teams are in the AFC.

Seeing a young wide receiver confident in his quarterback is a great sight to see. I foresee some great chemistry between Sutton and Flacco.
