Cornerback: Isaac Yiadom

The Denver Broncos’ 2018 rookie class was insanely good. There are contributors at every position group, it seems.

Isaac Yiadom got off to a rough start early last season, battled through injury, and made his first career interception in the final game of the regular season.

With great length and closing speed, Yiadom has all of the tools to excel whether he’s playing man coverage or zone coverage.

As the game slows down for him, he should be a fine starting cornerback in the NFL.

His emergence this season could allow the Broncos to truly float Kareem Jackson around the defensive formation as they seem to desire to do.

What if Jackson is playing all over the formation? Bryce Callahan can play some outside corner, but he’s a slot monster. What if Chris Harris isn’t back?

The Broncos need Yiadom to step up in a big way this year.

If he can hold up on his side of the field, the Broncos’ secondary is going to take a major leap forward in 2019.
