With the rookie minicamp completed, the team will resume OTA’s on Monday. Vic Fangio updates on some key injuries for the Denver Broncos players.

Rookie minicamp has concluded for the Denver Broncos. Now that the 47 players involved have got some extra reps in, it is time for the remaining of the team to practice along side them. This will be the first time the entire team has been together since the draft.

As the team prepares for their first organized team activities session since the NFL Draft, new head coach Vic Fangio updates us on the players that suffered injuries during the 2018 season and how they are progressing.

Some of the big names on that list includes Phillip Lindsay, Ron Leary, Bryce Callahan, and Emmanuel Sanders to name a few. Let us see how the players are progressing. On the new acquisition Bryce Callahan, he will be practicing this week.

Fangio notes that Leary and Lindsay will be limited in practice during OTA’s. Ron suffered an Achilles injury during the 2018 season that forced him to miss the entire year back in October. As for Phillip, he is recovering from a wrist injury that he suffered on Christmas Eve last season.

Next. Chris Harris Jr. to miss OTA's as contract continues to be figured out. dark

Emmanuel Sanders will not practice during OTA’s, but it appears he is recovering well. It would not surprise me if he is to be ready by training camp. Jake Butt, who is recovering from a torn ACL in practice in September, will not be practicing.

For the others, Bryce Callahan (foot) will be good to go. Isaac Yiadom (shoulder) will not practice much the first session, but should be good after the week ends.

Organized team activities are voluntary, so it will not be a huge deal for them to miss. It will certainly be important for them to be at full strength. They will be big contributors for the team during the 2019 season.

Here is to hoping that the team stays healthy throughout the organized team activities. It will be great to see the rest of the team progress during this time as well.
