The 2019 NFL Draft is over for the Denver Broncos. What players should they be targeting as undrafted free agents? They have a bunch of spots open.

The 2019 NFL Draft is over for the Denver Broncos, which is sad, except for the fact that the Broncos absolutely killed it this year.

Let’s feast our eyes on the class one more time, just to appreciate the greatness.

1(20): Noah Fant, TE, Iowa
2(41): Dalton Risner, OL, Kansas State
2(42): Drew Lock, QB, Missouri
3(71): Dre’Mont Jones, DL, Ohio State
5(156): Justin Hollins, EDGE, Oregon
6(187): Juwann Winfree, WR, Colorado

I love it.

The Broncos nailed the draft this year (and last year) and have a chance to add to their roster further through the undrafted free agent frenzy. Who are the best players available the Broncos should be looking at?

Let’s take a look at a few of my favorite names.

Emanuel Hall, WR, Missouri

The Broncos signed the top receivers for Brock Osweiler and Paxton Lynch (their other two high QB picks) after they were selected. None of those players worked out, but the thought process is spot on here. Draft a quarterback, bring in a player he’s familiar with to help him develop on scout team.

Hall has outstanding long speed, but he’s probably going drafted because that’s his only elite trait.

Tyree Jackson, QB, Buffalo

The Broncos probably would have to drop Garrett Grayson to add a UDFA quarterback, but why not add someone younger if you feel the guy has more upside?

Jackson has huge upside but will require a lot of time.

Other QBs: Jordan Ta’amu, Ole Miss; Brett Rypien, Boise State

Devine Ozigbo, RB, Nebraska

I absolutely love Ozigbo’s game. He’s a quick zone cutting running back with excellent bulk and better speed than advertised. I would have taken him as early as the fifth round in this year’s crop of running backs.

Alex Barnes, RB/HB, Kansas State

One of the most explosive athletes pound-for-pound in this class, Alex Barnes is a very fun H-back threat as an undrafted player who would probably push for a practice squad spot and maybe take over as the FB/HB in 2020.

Bruce Anderson, RB, North Dakota State

Anderson has exceptional speed and quickness at the RB position and was highly productive at North Dakota State. He would compete for a roster spot year one.
