Denver Broncos day two NFL Draft recap: John Elway killing it
The Denver Broncos absolutely destroyed the first two days of the 2019 NFL Draft in the best way. We recap their top four selections and moves.
Leading up to day three of the 2019 NFL Draft, it’s been an exciting time for the Denver Broncos to say the very least.
The Broncos kicked off the 2019 draft by trading down with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who selected a popular Broncos mock draft target in Michigan linebacker Devin Bush. Moving into the 20th overall spot, the Broncos selected Iowa Hawkeyes tight end Noah Fant, one of the most explosive players at that position we have seen in recent years.
Fant had 18 touchdown catches over the past two seasons with the Hawkeyes and tested in the 91st percentile in all major categories at the 2019 Scouting Combine, including running a 4.51 in the 40-yard dash and a 39.5-inch vertical jump.
After the Broncos picked Noah Fant, everyone was on the edge of their seats waiting to see what they would do on day two, and they did not disappoint.
The Broncos made some huge moves with their two second-round picks and their third-round pick.
Let’s talk about ’em.
