The Denver Broncos are clearly building for the future and the Dalton Risner pick undoubtedly has Mike Munchak happy.

Dalton Risner has spoken openly about a reunion in Colorado to play for the Denver Broncos.

Risner is a physical presence on the offensive line. Everything for Risner screams guard with offensive line coach Mike Munchak. The mean streak is evident with Risner.

If it all comes together, the starting unit on the offensive line will be one of the best it has been in a long time. On both sides of the line, the Broncos will have physicality and toughness. Speaking of Munchak, there were was talk about his influence in the NFL Draft. Risner screams Munchak pick and is a job well done.

Some felt Risner was a first round talent coming into the NFL Draft. The Broncos had to address depth regardless of the improvement on the line. Risner now becomes an instant fan favorite.

Sam Jones was slated to be a starting guard, but all this will potentially change with the addition of Risner. John Elway and the brass has prided themselves on versatility with the offensive line.

The best part of this selection is the Denver Broncos is building a youthful offensive line that will grow for the foreseeable future. It is a win now move and from now on. What will be fascinating to monitor is if they double up on offensive line in the draft going forward.

Enough of me talking, let’s get to the experts.
