Linebacker

I just don’t think the value is there on day two for the linebacker positions, but some people are all over the board with their rankings so you just never know.

Therefore, the Broncos could be much higher on one of these linebackers than I think they are.

Germaine Pratt, NC State

The team captain who certainly is familiar with Bradley Chubb is a converted defensive back and has great size at 6-foot-3, 240 pounds. He would be an ideal candidate to play in coverage and in space with his background as a DB.

Blake Cashman, Minnesota

I think Cashman is a round four guy, but he’s a team captain as well and was a walk-on for Minnesota as a cornerback/safety before moving to linebacker where he thrived.

dark. Next. Options at QB for the Broncos

Mack Wilson, Alabama

The Broncos have traditionally not drafted Nick Saban players, but perhaps Mack Wilson will buck the trend. He’s not as natural in space as the aforementioned players, but he’s not terrible there either and could give the Broncos a three-down option at ILB.
