Defensive Line/Edge

This is always an area to keep an eye on. The Broncos have used one of their top two picks in the NFL Draft on a defensive front seven player in every year except 2014 since John Elway came aboard.

Who would be some targets here?

Renell Wren, DL, Arizona State

I think Wren would be a round 3 candidate, but he has the athleticism to play multiple positions up front for the Broncos if they ask him to do it and he was a team captain.

Chares Omenihu, DL, Texas

Omenihu is another versatile player who would probably be drafted as a replacement for either Adam Gotsis or Derek Wolfe next year.

Jachai Polite, EDGE, Florida

This is an interesting one to keep an eye on. Polite had poor workouts but has great tape. He could be the first man off the bench in the pass rush department.

Other notable names: Dre’Mont Jones, Ohio State; Ben Banogu, TCU; Khalen Saunders, Western Illinois; Chase Winovich, Michigan
