The Denver Broncos addressed the defensive line position by drafting Dre’Mont Jones in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

If there are no moves made by the Denver Broncos by the end of Friday evening, the team has completed their day two with the selection of Dre’Mont Jones from Ohio State University.

I would like to take the time out and say that the Denver Broncos have done so well with these four picks in the draft. They have covered most of their needs. They got a tight end in Noah Fant, a offensive lineman in Dalton Risner. Drew Lock could help the team out in the future once the Joe Flacco era is over.

Now the team addresses the defensive line spot, most likely the nose tackle position with the selection of Dre’Mont Jones. His talent on the defensive line could really put this defense over the top with the ability to get to the quarterback. In Jones’ final season at Ohio State, he recorded eight and a half sacks.

Not too shabby for a defensive tackle. Hopefully he can bring that intensity to the Denver Broncos. I believe the move will really help out Vic Fangio’s defense and give them that pressure on the inside that they needed.

This will also help the Broncos defense in containing the opponent’s running game. He appears to be a solid pick since the Broncos missed out on Ed Oliver in the first round.

The Denver Broncos defense was looking really good with the additions they made during free agency. Adding their first defensive player in the draft in Dre’mont Jones is looking like a solid choice here.

If the Denver Broncos do not make any more moves, the day for them is done. And it will be a while before we see them pick on day three.

Welcome to Broncos Country Dre’Mont Jones!
