TEMPE, AZ – NOVEMBER 21: Defensive lineman Renell Wren #95 of the Arizona State Sun Devils celebrates as he walks off the field after defeating the Arizona Wildcats 52-37 in the college football game at Sun Devil Stadium on November 21, 2015 in Tempe, Arizona. This third-round pick I could go a number of directions. I would love for the Broncos to add even more to their offensive weaponry here, as scoring points has become sort of like walking up a mountain backwards for the Broncos.

If they took a receiver like Stanford’s JJ Arcega-Whiteside here, I wouldn’t be upset about it at all.

With that said, I realize the Broncos also have a situation where three very important contracts on the defensive line expire after this season. Renell Wren is a player like Vic Fangio said he covets on the defensive line who can play a variety of positions.

He was also a team captain at Arizona State after working hard to really figure things out on the field.

He contributed and started a few games as a junior, but really broke out as a senior.

He’s got the athleticism, strength, length, and bulk to be a longtime interior player in the NFL.
