Will the Broncos take a QB?

On Monday morning, a variety of notable NFL reporters and NFL Draft analysts were spreading information that the Denver Broncos were out on quarterbacks.

Todd McShay wrote about it. Albert Breer thinks the Broncos are going to ‘punt’ on QBs this year.

Peter Schrager said he thinks the Broncos will pass on QBs at 10 on Tuesday’s episode of Good Morning Football.

So you have a number of major reporters spewing doubt about whether the Broncos will take a quarterback, and then you have Ian Rapoport projecting Dwayne Haskins to the Broncos on his podcast.

Then Mike Klis of 9News in Denver wrote this in his Monday night column:

"“Speculation is growing that John Elway is strongly considering taking a quarterback with the Broncos’ No. 10 overall draft.” Mike Klis"

Well this is fun, isn’t it?

No one has a clue what Elway is going to do with the 10th overall pick, and half of the media is saying they are out on QBs while other prominent voices are saying they are definitely not out.

Who will you choose to believe?

I have a sneaking feeling the Broncos are going to try to end up with two first-round picks so they can ensure a year one starter at another position along with a player like Haskins or Lock who can compete to be the starter of the future.
