Denver needs bigger production at tight end

As far as production goes for the Denver Broncos, tight end has been their weakest offensive position since the Super Bowl 50 season. In 2015, with Owen Daniels, Vernon Davis, and Virgil Green, Denver recorded 891 yards receiving from that group. Ever since that season.

2016: 551 yards

2017: 433 yards

2018: 649 yards

That is a total of 1,633 yards in the last three seasons. Not a good number from the tight end group. Compare that to the fact that Rob Gronkowski recorded 682 yards in his final NFL season, you expect better results from the tight end position.

Denver needs production at tight end. They have not gotten that. This is why drafting T.J. Hockenson would really benefit the team.
