Hockenson can help in the run game

The Denver Broncos have Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsay. Both of these players can bring the running game back to the Broncos after what we saw in 2018. But the holes are going to need to be solid in order to have big gains. Looking at Hockenson’s tape, he is that player at the tight end spot who can help block.

Having that extra body on the line can benefit the run game. We have seen Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman bounce to the outside last season and run for touchdowns. Having a tight end that can help open up the outside holes can really benefit both of those running backs.
