Bottom Line

The Denver Broncos need a linebacker who excels in coverage.

Check.

They also covet players who have leadership qualities and even to be more specific, captainship at their schools.

Check.

The Broncos need a linebacker who can attack, play in space, and chase after running backs, slot receivers, and tight ends.

Check.

There are a lot of boxes checked by Devin Bush, or LSU’s Devin White for that matter. What Bush lacks in height, he more than makes up for with bulk and strength. This guy takes on blocks like he’s the biggest player on the field.

Playing with the pass rushers and other defensive front seven weapons the Broncos already have, Bush could thrive in Vic Fangio’s defense.

Fangio knows Jim Harbaugh — Bush’s college coach — extremely well from their days at Stanford and San Francisco. You think he will come highly recommended?
