Seventh round: Benny Snell, RB, Kentucky

Another player who would add depth and special teams ability, Benny Snell is exactly the type of personality you love to have rounding out your roster in the NFL.

Snell racked up 48 touchdowns over the past three seasons at Kentucky where he became famous for his vibrant and extremely jubilant post-game interviews.

He was named a second-team All-American by a number of outlets and as a junior this past season was named a team captain for the Wildcats.

Oh by the way, we made note of that theme last year. The Broncos drafted almost exclusively team captains, and we’ll see if that trend continues in 2019.

Snell would provide special teams value as well as depth with the team looking at losing Devontae Booker next offseason potentially.

Snell is a one-cut runner who would work perfectly in the Shanahan/Kubiak offensive philosophy. He runs extremely hard between the tackles and has the size to finish. I like this kid as a seventh-round flyer despite his lack of elite speed.
